September 24, 2003 - The Lindbergh touring exhibit from the Missouri Historical Society will end its successful run at the EAA AirVenture Museum on Sunday, October 5. The exhibit, which has drawn more than 100,000 visitors since its July 2003 opening, is the largest, most ambitious and most comprehensive exhibit that exists on the life of Charles Lindbergh. At over 5,000 square feet, it's also the largest and most ambitious exhibit ever housed at EAA AirVenture Museum.
The Lindbergh exhibit, which had previously never been seen outside of St. Louis, contains hundreds of stunning artifacts, many on public view for the first time in decades. See Lindbergh's flight suit and other gear from the historic transatlantic journey - plus significant artifacts from every period of his life. For those who have yet to experience it, this could be your last chance to do so.
The exhibit, which is included with regular museum admission, was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Socata Aircraft, EADS North America, and Dassault Falcon Jet Corp.
