Coming soon to the EAA AirVenture Museum is a unique new exhibit, showcasing the work of Madison-based photographer Craig Wilson. The focus of the exhibit will be Craig's world-renowned aerial kite photography. Over 40 stunning photographs of Midwestern scenery and aviation events will be on display - all of them taken from a camera mounted on a kite! Craig uses a kite to hoist his camera 600 to 1,200 feet above his subject, creating a unique low altitude perspective. This enables Craig to make striking images that show the patterns, geometric shapes, shadows, colors, and textures of the ground in a very powerful and unique way.
