Haunted Hangar
Where fright takes flight! |
Thursday, Oct. 30 and
Friday, Oct. 31, 2008 |
|
The spirit of Halloween takes flight at the
EAA AirVenture Museum’s Haunted Hangar! Enter at your own risk to a
dimly lit museum. Spooky guides lead you on an exciting flashlight tour
though a Haunted Hangar. But … watch out for Halloween ghosts and
surprises as you listen to chilling stories about ghastly aviation
history (…and the airplanes look pretty neat under flashlights too!)
Admission to the Haunted Hangar is just
$5 per person and all visitors are encouraged to dress in their favorite
Halloween costume. Plus, EAA members and children five and under are
admitted free! Reservations are not required, but recommended by calling
920-426-6880 or by visiting our secure
registration site here. |

Space Week
Will your “eggstronaut”
survive? |
December 1-5, 2008 |
|
This week is especially designed to
introduce students in grades 3-8 to the science and wonder of space
exploration. Exciting and educational activities take place each day
from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. including Fizzing Rockets and Stomp Rockets.
Students will also design and build a vehicle to protect an “eggstronaut”
from the perils of reentry. The ultimate test will be to see whose “eggstronaut”
survives the giant drop! This activity will also include an up-close
view of EAA’s multimedia space exhibit, which includes a full-size
reproduction of SpaceShipOne. For more information, prices, and to make
reservations for your class - call 920-426-6880 or e-mail museum@eaa.org |
