ARTISTS SHOW THEIR TALENT IN ANNUAL 2002 SPORT AVIATION COMPETITION

As EAA celebrates AirVenture 2002 and its 50th fly-in convention, artists from around the world creatively joined in by submitting outstanding entries, in some cases more than one, for the 26th annual Sport Aviation Art Competition. This year’s theme, appropriately titled “50 Years of EAA,” inspired many artists, including Sharon Ranjus of Malin , Oregon , who received Par Excellence in the Theme category for her oil painting Only at Oshkosh.

Artists young and old employed various mediums—from crayons to acrylics—for their work. All entries are on display in the EAA AirVenture Museum.
