EAA’s Slightly Haunted Hangar
Saturday, October 25, 2008

11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.

For younger visitors, EAA’s Slightly Haunted Hangar is a fun and friendly way to celebrate Halloween. They’ll have the opportunity to trick or treat in the EAA AirVenture Museum, play holiday-themed games, participate in Halloween activities and even come dressed in their favorite costume. Admission to the Slightly Haunted Hangar is included in regular Museum admission. Plus, don’t forget that EAA members and children ages five and under are always admitted free to the EAA Museum. Join in on all the fun! Volunteers are needed for this event. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Museum.

 

 

EAA’s Haunted Hangar
October 30 and 31 2008

5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

For two nights only, the spirit of Halloween connects with aviation history at the EAA AirVenture Museum’s popular annual event! All the lights are turned off in the Museum and spooky guides will lead guests on an exciting flashlight tour though a Haunted Hangar. Watch out for Halloween ghosts and surprises as you hear chilling stories filled with ghastly aviation history (…and the airplanes look pretty neat under flashlights too!)

Admission to the Haunted Hangar is just $5 per person and all visitors are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costume. Plus EAA members and children five and under are admitted free. Reservations are not required, but recommended by calling 920-426-6880 or by visiting our secure registration site here. Volunteers are needed for this event. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Museum.

   

B-17 Fantasy Flight Camp
December 12 – 14, 2008

One of the most famous airplanes of World War II was the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress. At the B-17 Fantasy Camp, you’ll be immersed in the stories of the aircraft’s history as you examine EAA’s Aluminum Overcast, one of only a few flying B-17s left in the world. Christmas in the Air
December 8, 2008

Join us for EAA's 25th Annual Christmas in the Air FREE Holiday Celebration and Open House. Just "Plane" Chocolate will return as well as performances by over 20 musical, madrigal, and choral groups from the Oshkosh area. Don’t miss “Those Funny Little People” perform and be sure to see Santa Claus arrive by helicopter. Make this your newest holiday tradition. Monday, December 8, 2008 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Santa arrives at 6:30 and will be visiting children until 8:00 p.m. www.airventuremuseum.org
